RootedHub LLC ("RootedHub," "we," "us") operates rootedhub.site, a directory connecting people across the U.S. with wellness practitioners, vendors, events, and classes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

• Account info — name, email, phone, state/county, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Listing info — business details, photos, descriptions, and contact info you publish.
• License details — license type, number, issuing state/board, and expiration that practitioners optionally submit for verification. Reviewed by our team; not shown publicly.
• Appointment requests — name, email, preferred date/time, and message you send to a provider.
• Saved items & alerts — favorited providers and saved searches you choose to be notified about.
• Location — your approximate state, and your precise location only if you allow it in your browser, used to show nearby listings and sponsored spots. We don't store precise visitor location.
• Gift cards — purchaser and recipient names and emails, and remaining balance.
• Referral & payout info — referral codes used, and for providers/ambassadors, payout status from Stripe Connect. Bank and tax ID details are collected and held by Stripe, not RootedHub.
• Waitlists — email and state when you join a state launch waitlist.
• Registration info — name, email, and phone when you register for an event or class, buy a ticket or package, or purchase a resource.
• Payment info — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, and basic device info via cookies/log files.

2. How we use it

• Provide, operate, and improve the directory and your account.
• Process payments, gift cards, commissions, and payouts; send receipts and event reminders.
• Show relevant listings and sponsored spots near you, and send search alerts you signed up for.
• Review license information for the Verified badge.
• Send account emails such as listing reports, renewal notices, launch announcements, and win-back reminders. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails.
• Communicate with you about your listings, registrations, or support requests.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.

3. Sharing

We share information only with:

• Service providers — Stripe (payments, Stripe Connect payouts, tax forms), our cloud database and hosting providers, and our email delivery provider.
• Organizers — when you register, your name and contact info are shared with the listing organizer so they can host the event. Appointment requests and package purchases are shared with that provider.
• Ambassadors — an ambassador can see which businesses they referred and related earnings, but not your payment details.
• Legal — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, plus basic analytics to understand site usage. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.

5. Your choices & rights

• Update or correct your profile in Profile Settings.
• Delete your listings from My Listings.
• Cancel registrations from My Registrations.
• Request account deletion or a copy of your data by emailing us via Contact.

Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or port your personal information and to opt out of certain processing. We honor these requests for all U.S. users. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Data retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active, and transaction records as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

7. Children

RootedHub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We'll post any updates here and revise the "Effective" date above.
